Adamstown Rosebud Football Club (founded July 12, 1889) is a semi-professional football club based in Adamstown (NSW, Australia). Our club currently competes in the Northern NSW Football (NNSWF) National Premier League. We are one of the oldest football clubs in Australia that has operated continuously since inception. Our club had played in the former National Soccer League between 1984 and 1986 as Newcastle Rosebud United. In the National Premier League competition, we currently field three senior squads (1st Grade, Under 20 and Under 18), four youth squads (Under 16, Under 15, Under 14 and Under 13 years) and two SAP squads (Under 10 and Under 9). We play our home games at Adamstown Oval, and this has been our home ground since 1889.  It is arguably one of the best NPL venues in Newcastle with a high quality playing surface, grandstand, change room facilities, canteen, referees area, gear shed, tractor shed and tractor and an internal training facility.
